Just like it’s been done for over 200 years in true Brazilian tradition, the dry salt process allows our Carne Seca (also known as Charque, Charqui, or Salted Dry Beef) to develop an authentic aroma and flavour.

Such a versatile product! It tastes great and it's easy to prepare. I used it on on stews, Shepard's pie, tacos (pulled or chopped), even on risottos if pulled. Also, it's great for Brazilian dishes such as beans stew (feijoada) and tapioca.
